There are countless ways to get involved with the Hartwell Motorcycle Club, and we welcome everyone with a passion for the sport—no prior experience is necessary, as we provide plenty of guidance along the way.

To help you get started safely and confidently, we recommend obtaining a Working With Children Check and a Level 1 Officials Licence. The licence is a simple, free online questionnaire available through the Motorcycling Victoria website.

Ways You Can Help
Volunteering isn’t just about being trackside; it’s about being part of the team that makes race days possible.

Available roles include:

  • Trackside & Technical: Flag marshalling, bike recovery, and scrutineering.
  • Event Support: Assisting with administration, merchandise sales, and pre-meeting setup.
  • Hospitality: Helping with lunches and catering to keep our team fuelled.
  • Race Marshals Victoria (RMV): You can also join Race Marshals Victoria, an exemplary group that provides essential flagging and track support at all our meetings.

The Importance of Your Presence
We truly could not run our events without the amazing people who stand out in all weather conditions, fuelled by their love for the sport. While you don’t need to be available for every meeting, we do ask that once you commit to a date, you arrive on time and are ready to go. Because every role is vital, an unexpected absence can, unfortunately, delay or even halt racing until a replacement is found.

By putting up your hand, you are not just a spectator; you are the heart of the race.
